It completely slipped my mind that i haven’t
updated you guys on Julia’s scan results. The doctor said her MIBG scan is stable and her PET scan looks the same or better than the previous one. We are beyond grateful for this good news and pray that 2018 will be a year of continued health and happiness for our family. I also want to thank each and every one of you for your love and your unending support and prayers.
When I first started Julia’s blog and Facebook page 4 years ago, I chose to share our story for a few reasons. One of the main reasons was to keep family/friends that were not local updated on Julia’s progress. I also shared our story because I thought maybe it could help other families going through the same thing…. give them hope and faith. And most importantly I shared Julia’s story because we’ve had the blessing of having thousands of wonderful prayer warriors from all over the world praying for our beautiful girl. What I never expected to receive by sharing our journey was the amazing outpouring of love and support from all over the world!! I literally have to hold my tears back as I’m typing this because all of you have been the light and the hope that I needed during all the dark moments. The moments when I couldn’t see the light and I would almost lose hope.
Your uplifting, inspiring, and motivational words and messages were my saving grace. In this journey it’s so easy to feel alone and isolated and that you’re fighting this battle all by yourself. Reading all your comments made me feel like I wasn’t alone and that we had an army of people fighting with us.
This battle is far from over but as another year comes to an end, I just want to say thank you for your continued support. We love you and pray that this New Year will bring all of you good health and happiness.
To Jesus through Mary,
